This will be the third and final performance from the Darwin Symphony Orchestra’s 2011 Masters Series. The final performance will be conducted by Lief Sundstrup and will feature soloist Claire Edwardes on percussion. The concert will feature Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Kats-Chernin’s Golden Kitsch Concerto for Percussion and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
This final performance will be on Saturday 3rd December 2011 at 8:00 in the Playhouse at the Darwin Entertainment Centre.
Full price tickets are $45 and can be purchased through the DEC on 08 8980 3333. The approximate running time of the show will be 2.5 hours including a 20 minute interval.
A pre concert talk and opportunity for ticket holders to meet the artists will start at 7:00pm in the Studio. Admission is free and all are welcome.
